Technical Team Administrator

About the Job
My client, a leading IT solutions provider (MS Gold Partner, VMware Enterprise Partner etc.), is seeking a talented, enthusiastic Technical Team Administrator to complement their technical team. You will be skilled in Office 2007/10 as well as having excellent organisation and administration skills. If you want to join a well-established but still growing business then this could be the role for you.
Overview:
Responsible for the administration and work load allocation for a growing technical team, you will become an essential link between your team, the internal sales team, customers and suppliers. Range of Responsibilities
· Manage the administration for a technical IT team
· Control workload and calendars
· Maintain a database of distributors and outsourced technical resources
· Liaise between sales, technical, customers and suppliers
· Schedule technical training as required to ensure vendor accreditation requirements are met
· Maintain skills database of technical staff

Skills and abilities required
· Good telephone manner and strong customer service skills
· Excellent inter-personal skills
· Participate positively in a team, involving and informing others of relevant information
· Build and maintain business relationships

Qualifications and experience required
· Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel, Sharepoint
· Current full driving licence?
· Good all round education, preferably to ‘A’ Level (NVQ Level 3)
· Good command of English, both spoken and written

Other relevant experience considered
· Helpdesk or customer service experience
· Team administration

Character and personal qualities required
· Excellent communication and teamwork skills
· Able to work on own initiative
· Willingness to learn
· Responds positively to stress and pressure
